About Me

Hi,my name is Beckie Butcher.I was born and raised in Elgin,Il.In 1982,I graduated for Elgin High School,and received my Associates Degree of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology in 1997.In 2005,I wrote my first and only cookbook entitled,"Feeding The Flock," which is compiled of 150 recipes from my friends,family and co-workers.Through my book and I am now a platinum member of Cambridge Who's Who of Executives,Professionals,and Entreprenuers and the National Association of Professional Women.In April of 2008,I became a Lifetime Member of the Cooking Club of America.I am a product tester for them as well.In May of 2009,I became a Field Editor for Taste of Home magazine,and in the  past three years I have had six recipes published in various Gooseberry Patch cookbooks.I love to garden,knit,and of course cook.Thank you for visiting my website and I hope you enjoy the book.
